Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Highlights: Elephant herds, baobab trees, lions & leopards

Your journey begins with an early pickup from your Arusha hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport. From there, we drive to Tarangire National Park, a gem famous for its towering baobabs and massive elephant populations.

With a picnic lunch along the way, you’ll enjoy a full day of game viewing through Tarangire’s varied terrain—sprawling savannahs, wooded hills, and seasonal marshes. Keep your eyes peeled for predators like lions and leopards, and don’t forget to look up—the ancient baobabs are spectacular.

After your game drive, head to your lodge for a relaxing evening, a warm dinner, and a good night’s rest surrounded by nature.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Wildlife Paradise

Highlights: Big Five sightings, crater landscapes, rare black rhinos

After breakfast, travel to the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This massive volcanic caldera shelters over 30,000 animals in a unique, self-contained ecosystem.

Descend into the crater with your guide and enjoy incredible sightings of lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, and—if you’re lucky—the elusive black rhino. Watch flamingos shimmer on the crater lake, and listen for the calls of African fish eagles soaring above.

After a picnic lunch inside the crater, continue your game viewing before returning to your lodge to relax and recount the day’s adventures.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Tree-Climbing Lions & Birdlife

Highlights: Tree-climbing lions, baboons, flamingos

Your final safari day takes you to the enchanting Lake Manyara National Park, a compact park brimming with surprises. It’s one of the few places in Africa where lions are known to climb trees, and you may even spot them lounging in the branches.

The park is also home to large troops of baboons, playful monkeys, elephants, hippos, and a dazzling variety of birds—including flamingos lining the lake’s shore.

After a rewarding game drive and picnic lunch, we begin the journey back to Arusha or drop you at Kilimanjaro Airport—marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari with Revelation Adventure Safaris.
