Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Highlights: Elephant herds, baobab trees, river picnic

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your Arusha accommodation. After meeting your guide and chef, drive to Tarangire National Park—famous for its towering baobab trees, open woodlands, and the highest elephant population density in Tanzania.

Spend the day exploring diverse landscapes, spotting lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and countless other species. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint near the Tarangire River, where monkeys and baboons often linger.

After your game drive, head to your campsite in Mto wa Mbu to enjoy dinner and your first night camping under the African stars.

Day 2: Mto wa Mbu – Serengeti National Park

Highlights: Scenic drive, optional Maasai village visit, afternoon game drive

After breakfast, begin your journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, stop at a stunning crater viewpoint and, if you wish, visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their fascinating culture and warrior traditions (optional).

Arrive in Central Serengeti (Seronera) in the afternoon, the heart of the park known for its high density of predators and grazing animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch before embarking on a game drive through vast savannahs and rocky kopjes.

As the sun sets across the endless plains, you’ll arrive at your Serengeti campsite for a warm dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Highlights: Sunrise safari, predator activity, scenic transfer

Start the day early with coffee or tea, then set out on a sunrise game drive—the best time to see big cats in action and wildlife at its most active. After capturing the golden light of morning, return to camp for a late breakfast and lunch (brunch).

Later, continue your journey with a game drive en route as you travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Wildlife is abundant along this route, so keep your camera ready.

Arrive in the evening at your camp on the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where you’ll enjoy dinner and panoramic views before settling in for the night.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

Highlights: Big Five game drive, crater floor exploration, flamingos

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor is home to over 30,000 animals, including lions, buffalo, elephants, black rhinos, and abundant birdlife.

Enjoy a half-day game drive and a picnic lunch near a scenic hippo pool. After your safari, ascend the crater walls, collect your camping gear, and begin the return journey to Arusha, where your incredible adventure with Revelation Adventure Safaris concludes.
