Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Revelation Adventure Safaris. By booking a trip or using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully, as they explain your responsibilities as a traveler and our obligations as your trusted safari partner.

1. Booking & Payments

To confirm your reservation, a deposit is required at the time of booking. The exact deposit amount will be provided in your official quote or invoice.

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the start of your trip.

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved options.

  • Late or incomplete payments may result in cancellation without refund.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. The following cancellation charges apply:

  • More than 60 days before departure: 20% of the total trip cost

  • 30–59 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost

  • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total trip cost

If eligible, refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the cancellation notice.
We highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations, delays, or emergencies.

3. Changes to Itinerary

Revelation Adventure Safaris reserves the right to adjust your itinerary due to unexpected factors such as weather, natural events, park regulations, or logistical challenges.
In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements of equal or greater value wherever possible.

4. Travel Insurance

Travel and medical insurance is mandatory for all travelers. Your policy should include:

  • Trip cancellation or interruption

  • Emergency medical care and evacuation

  • Loss or theft of personal items

Proof of insurance may be required before trip departure.

5. Health & Fitness

Certain adventures, such as mountain treks, require good physical health and stamina.
Travelers are responsible for:

  • Consulting a physician prior to travel

  • Notifying us of any health concerns, medical conditions, or dietary needs

6. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring they meet all entry requirements for Tanzania or other destinations. This includes:

  • A valid passport (with at least 6 months validity)

  • Necessary visas and travel permits

  • Required vaccinations

Revelation Adventure Safaris is not liable for denied entry due to incomplete or incorrect documentation.

7. Liability & Responsibility

Revelation Adventure Safaris operates as an agent for hotels, airlines, lodges, transport services, and activity providers. While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for:

  • Injuries, loss, or delays caused by third parties

  • Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings

  • Traveler negligence or failure to follow safety instructions

Participation in any tour or trek is at your own risk.

8. Force Majeure

We cannot be held responsible for trip interruptions or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Political unrest

  • Pandemics

  • Airline strikes

  • Severe weather or acts of God

In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or adjust your itinerary.

9. Use of Photos & Testimonials

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Revelation Adventure Safaris may use photos or testimonials from your trip in our promotional materials, website, or social media.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any legal disputes shall be handled in Tanzanian courts.
