Morning: Drive & Scenic Safari Entry

Your day begins with a pickup from your Arusha hotel or lodge by a Revelation Adventure Safaris guide. A short 30–40 minute drive brings you to the Arusha National Park gate, where your walking adventure begins. As you enter the park, you’ll enjoy a brief game-viewing drive through rich landscapes of montane forest and open grassland, with sightings of bushbuck, giraffes, baboons, and possibly buffalo.

Mid-Morning: Guided Walking Safari

At a designated ranger post, you’ll meet your armed park ranger, who will lead the walking safari. From here, leave the vehicle behind and step into the wild. As you trek through the park’s winding trails and open clearings, every sound, scent, and sight feels intensified. The walking route typically includes:

• Ngurdoto Crater Viewpoint – known as “Little Ngorongoro,” with panoramic views of the lush volcanic bowl.
• Hidden Waterfalls – a short trek into the forest reveals a beautiful waterfall, perfect for a refreshing pause.
• Lake Momella – famous for flocks of pink flamingos and sweeping mountain views.

Your ranger will share insights on the area’s geology, flora, and the habits of the animals you encounter. While big predators are rare here, the thrill of walking near giraffes, zebras, warthogs, and antelope is unforgettable.

Lunch (Optional Add-On)

You may opt for a picnic lunch inside the park, arranged in advance. Enjoy your meal with views of Mount Meru or overlooking the lakes, depending on the season and your route.

Afternoon: Drive Back to Arusha

After a few hours of walking and exploring the park, you’ll return to your safari vehicle and drive back to Arusha, arriving by mid-to-late afternoon. This short but powerful trip is the perfect warm-up for longer safaris or Kilimanjaro climbs.
